  For Jet Transition – Boeing 737-800 Type Rating Program

This comprehensive flight training program requires that you hold an FAA Commercial License with Instrument and Multi-engine Ratings. You will complete one month of Jet Transition training, followed by 4 weeks of Boeing 737-800 type rating training. Upon completion you will be proficient in a Boeing 737-800 and hold an ICAO Boeing 737-
800 Type Rating.

Curriculum and Time Line

Weeks 1- 4: Jet Transition
(146 Hours)

• 30 hours of Jet-Airline Indoctrination
• 6 hours Instrument Refresher
• 30 hours of Aircraft Systems
• 12 hours Limitations, Emergency Actions and Profiles
• 24 hours Flight Management System
• 16 hours of Cockpit Procedures (CPT) Training
• 8 hours of Instrument Preparation
• 20 hours of B-737-800 Visual Simulator Training

Week 5 - 8: Boeing 737-800 Full Flight Simulator (“FFS”) Training) (26 Hours) • 20 hours of B-737 Ground Training
• 16 hours B-737 CPT
• 13 hours B-737 Left Seat FFS Training
• 13 hours B-737 Right Seat FFS Training
• Boeing 737-800 Type Rating in Left Seat
