FAA to DGCA License Conversion Program

Global Pilot Careers is a US based company with operations in India and Europe.  We offer the most efficient quality pilot training programs available, tailored to the needs of each pilot as applicable to the specific training requirements of their country or employment opportunity.

DGCA Theory Training, Testing And License Conversion in Less Than 4 Months

The license conversion process begins before you have completed your initial instrument and commercial licenses and is carefully timed to save you both time and money as you move toward you career with an airline.

The DGCA requires that your pilot license be current in order to complete the license conversion process. This means that you have only 6 months from your currency date in the US to convert your FAA license to DGCA. Failing to meet this deadline will require the additional expense of renting an aircraft in India and flying to regain your currency before continuing with your license conversion.

The Program:

To accomplish a timely conversion process requires accomplishing the steps outlined below.

  1. Prior to completing the training for your commercial license, you must determine which published test date you wish to sit the DGCA aeronautical knowledge exams, and obtain a computer number for the DGCA exam.
  2. Prior to leaving for India to study for the exams, you will be scheduled to complete the DGCA currency requirements.
  3. Upon arriving in India, you will immediately begin our comprehensive ground training program to quickly prepare you to sit your DGCA written exams.
  4. Once you have taken and passed your SGCA theory exams, and hold a current FAA license, you can partition the DGCA to convert your license.
